This checklist is intended to assist food manufacturing settings in preparing for an outbreak of COVID-19 infection, thereby ensuring that any outbreak can be dealt with as quickly as possible, while also making the risk of an outbreak as low as it can be.

The questions are designed as prompts to help you think through the areas of COVID-19 risk, and the various preventative measures. Not all questions will be applicable, and there are several suggested measures which you may not deem appropriate for your setting. There is no requirement for the checklist to be sent to the Health Protection Team or Local Authority, although it may be useful to share in the event of a workplace outbreak.
